Q2 2024 Android Report: Top Food Delivery Apps in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the food delivery service apps have shown varied trends in downloads and weekly active users on the Android platform. Sensor Tower's data gives us a closer look at the performance of these apps.

PedidosYa - Delivery Online experienced a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 23K in late April and late May, but saw a dip to 18K by the end of June. Weekly active users peaked at approximately 193K in late April, with a slight drop to 198K by the end of the quarter.

Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery maintained a steady download rate, hovering around 10K weekly, with a slight increase to nearly 12K in mid-May. Its active users showed a more significant fluctuation, starting at 329K in early April and reaching a high of 369K by the end of April, before declining to 338K in late June.

Glovo: Food Delivery and More saw its downloads remain in the low thousands, with the highest at 1.2K in late June. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, starting at 285K in early April and climbing to over 325K by mid-June.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery had the least number of downloads among the top apps, with numbers ranging from a few hundred weekly, and experienced a peak of 418 downloads in the last week of June. Active users were below 10K for most of the quarter, but there was a small rise to close to 9.8K active users by the end of June.

DoorDash - Dasher also showed modest download numbers, with a slight increase to 171 in early May but otherwise remaining around the low hundreds. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase from 1.2K in early April to 1.4K by the end of June.
